Sticklers to debut touchless fibre cleaner at ANGA COM

Fri, 13th Mar 2026

Sticklers Fibre Optic Cleaning Products will present its PRO360° Touchless Cleaner at ANGA COM 2026 in Cologne, highlighting automated, non-contact cleaning of fibre connector end faces for telecom, broadband and data centre environments.

The company will use the event to demonstrate tools for routine fibre maintenance in high-volume networks. It will also showcase other products in its fibre cleaning range, including cleaning sticks, wipes and fluids for connector cleaning and maintenance.

Event focus

ANGA COM is a European exhibition and conference for broadband and media. It brings together network operators, equipment manufacturers and service providers, covering fixed and mobile access technologies such as fibre-based access networks and 5G infrastructure.

As fibre footprints expand, connector cleanliness remains a practical operational issue for operators and contractors. Contamination on end faces can affect optical performance and trigger repeat site visits during installation and fault repair. In busy deployment programmes, technicians need repeatable processes that reduce variability between users and locations.

Touchless cleaning

Sticklers will spotlight the PRO360° Touchless Cleaner, described as an automated, non-contact cleaning system for teams processing large numbers of connections.

The system uses an atomised spray of high-purity cleaning fluid and compressed air, designed to remove microscopic dust, oils and debris. Product information released ahead of the event says the process leaves connector end faces clean and dry in seconds.

Sticklers positions the PRO360° for environments that require fast cleaning without direct contact, and for applications where consistent, repeatable results matter across high connector volumes.

Power and fit

The PRO360° is a compact unit that runs on a rechargeable battery or line power, supporting both field use and bench-top work.

Standard adaptors cover 1.25 mm and 2.5 mm connectors, as well as MPO connectors. Sticklers says each canister supports more than 2,100 contactless cleans.

Those specifications position the product for technicians who move between sites and for teams working in controlled environments such as data centre build rooms and network operations facilities. Consumable usage and repeatability, alongside technician time, are key considerations in maintenance workflows.

Standards and practise

Alongside the PRO360°, Sticklers will show cleaning sticks, wipes and fluids. The portfolio is designed to meet IEC standards and industry best practices for fibre connector cleaning and maintenance.

The range reflects the variety of work carried out on fibre networks, from new connector installations and acceptance testing to ongoing inspections, patching, rework, and moves and changes. Different settings can favour different cleaning formats, depending on access constraints and connector type.

Visitors will be able to watch live demonstrations and speak with product specialists. Sticklers will provide technical guidance and discuss contamination issues affecting connectors and splices.

Company background

MicroCare manufactures the Sticklers brand of fibre optic cleaning products. Operating since 1983, MicroCare supplies cleaning, coating and lubrication products used in electronics, photonics, telecommunications, aerospace, metal finishing, medical device manufacturing and healthcare.

MicroCare also maintains an on-site Critical Cleaning Lab and uses field technicians to support customers working on cleaning processes. It operates an ISO 9001:2015 registered quality system and markets products under several brands, including MicroCare, Sticklers, MicroCare Medical, Spec Clean and Tergo.

Sticklers' European Business Manager, Fibre Optics, Liam Taylor, linked the product focus to network operations and repeatability.

"Consistent fibre connector cleaning is essential for maintaining network reliability," said Liam Taylor, European Business Manager, Fibre Optics for Sticklers. "The PRO360° provides a fast, automated cleaning option for high-volume environments while supporting industry best practices for fibre end-face cleanliness."

Sticklers will exhibit at stand F10 in Hall 8, with demonstrations planned throughout the three-day show.
