TechDay celebrates two years of UK expansion

Fri, 19th Dec 2025

TechDay is marking two years since expanding its publishing operations into the UK, establishing eight specialist technology news sites.

The network has grown steadily and is now visible across Google Search, Google News, and generative platforms such as ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity. Over the past year, the UK sites have published more than 7,600 stories, covering events, conferences, and sector-specific developments.

The expansion is part of TechDay's strategy to extend its multi-site publishing model into major global technology markets, focusing on dedicated sites targeting specific professional and niche audiences.

Our UK sites

The eight UK sites address different sectors and decision-making roles.

ChannelLife UK serves technology resellers, DataCentreNews UK targets cloud and data centre decision-makers, and IT Brief UK focuses on CIOs and senior IT leaders. SecurityBrief UK provides coverage for CISOs and cybersecurity professionals, while eCommerceNews UK addresses digital commerce decision-makers. CMOtech UK covers marketing leaders, CFOtech UK focuses on finance decision-makers, and TelcoNews UK reports on ICT and telecommunications audiences.

The UK sites publish daily news, executive interviews, leadership appointments, and reporting from industry events. Over the past year, the editorial team has increased its interview and feature output dramatically, providing insight into technology leadership and market developments.

Organisations can submit announcements, job moves, and appointments directly to the editorial team. These submissions are reviewed and published at no cost, offering a route for companies to reach sector-specific audiences. Certain content also benefits from reporting tools, allowing partners to measure visibility and engagement across the network.

The UK sites are now firmly established across discovery platforms, enhancing readership and making specialist stories more accessible to decision-makers. The expansion aligns with a broader trend among IT vendors to centralise communications globally.

Records being broken

"Readers are loving our UK sites, with new records on site visitors, SEO/GEO rankings and reads per story." Sean Mitchell, Publisher at TechDay.

"We're also really happy with the commercials of our business. December 2025 was our best revenue month ever. Yes, the best in our 19 years of business. Which tops off an amazing 2025, with revenues up 47% year over year."

2026 plans

The TechDay UK team will close for the year on 19 December 2025 and return on 12 January 2026. During this time we will have a skeleton crew running daily news, although we won't be doing any interviews.

The company will also be hiring a London-based Editor in the new year, which is one of five currently open editorial positions. These roles include two Interview Editors, to be feet on the ground at events, launches, conferences and in-person interviews, as well as three Sub Editors. Anyone interested in the roles is encouraged to contact our Publisher, Sean, here.
