Westcon-Comstor boosts CrowdStrike, Zscaler support
Westcon-Comstor has expanded its support services for channel partners working with CrowdStrike and Zscaler across Europe, as distributors push further into services delivery alongside product supply.
The distributor can now sell and deliver Level 1 and Level 2 support for the CrowdStrike Falcon platform in English, French, German and Spanish under CrowdStrike's Authorised Support Partner Programme in Europe.
Under the model, channel partners across Europe can offer CrowdStrike-approved Level 1 and Level 2 support services, delivered by Westcon-Comstor to end customers. The arrangement adds regional capacity and increases coverage for customers that need local-language support.
Support is delivered from European centres in Berlin and Madrid as part of a broader services-led model for cybersecurity vendors and their partner ecosystems.
CrowdStrike coverage
The expanded work builds on an existing distribution relationship, including channel collaboration and cloud marketplace access for partners to CrowdStrike offerings.
Westcon-Comstor positions the support delivery as a way for partners to extend service coverage without building additional multilingual support teams. Channel partners remain customer-facing, while Westcon-Comstor handles the defined support tiers.
Julia Barruso, Senior Director, Distribution, Europe at CrowdStrike, linked the move to partner service delivery in local markets.
"Westcon-Comstor plays an important role in supporting CrowdStrike's partner ecosystem across Europe. Through CrowdStrike's Authorised Support Partner Programme, Westcon-Comstor is delivering localised Level 1 and Level 2 support that helps partners better serve customers with local language expertise and faster paths to resolution."
Zscaler alignment
Alongside the CrowdStrike expansion, Westcon-Comstor highlighted its support delivery work with Zscaler across EMEA. It recently launched a specialist business unit, Z-Strike, dedicated to Zscaler and designed to strengthen collaboration with partners across the region.
Its existing support services also tie into a programme called Westcon MSSP for Zscaler. The programme targets managed security service providers and authorised Zscaler partners that participate in the Zscaler MSSP Programme.
The initiative covers commercial and operational elements for partners serving small and mid-sized customers, with a focus on simpler transactions, faster onboarding and more flexible delivery models.
A central element of the relationship is an end-to-end support model: Westcon-Comstor delivers Level 1 and Level 2 support, manages troubleshooting and escalation, and provides partners with a single point of contact.
Anthony Torsiello, Senior Vice President, Global Partner Ecosystem at Zscaler, said the expanded model reflects closer operational alignment.
"Westcon-Comstor is a strategic Zscaler distribution partner, and this expanded services model reflects the strength of our collaboration and shared commitment to accelerating partner success. By deepening operational alignment and investing in scalable support capabilities, Westcon is helping extend the reach of the Zscaler platform across EMEA, while enabling partners to deliver more integrated security outcomes for our joint customers."
Services shift
Cybersecurity distributors have put more emphasis on services in recent years as vendors and partners adjust to subscription licensing, cloud procurement, and more complex deployment and operational requirements. Level 1 and Level 2 support sits at the centre of this shift, covering front-line issue handling, triage and defined escalation processes.
For channel partners, outsourced support can reduce the need to recruit multilingual staff and maintain 24/7 coverage across multiple customer accounts. For vendors, authorised support partner programmes can extend coverage while preserving defined processes and certification requirements.
Westcon-Comstor framed the CrowdStrike and Zscaler work as part of that model. Martin Flensburg, Vice President, Services Delivery and Go-To-Market, Europe at Westcon-Comstor, said the distributor is embedding its services into partner support processes for both vendors.
"These initiatives underscore our commitment to delivering distribution‐led support that enables partners to focus on delivering world‐class security outcomes to their customers, while allowing vendors to scale their services by leveraging adoption through the channel. By embedding our services into both CrowdStrike and Zscaler's support processes for partners, we are demonstrating the added value that distribution brings - reducing complexity and making life easier for both partners and vendors."
Westcon-Comstor operates in more than 50 countries and goes to market through the Westcon, Comstor and Rebura lines of business. The expanded support services are available immediately across Europe for partners working with CrowdStrike, and across EMEA for partners working with Zscaler.
