Westcon-Comstor, UiPath expand Europe automation pact
Westcon-Comstor has signed a Europe-wide distribution agreement with UiPath, expanding an existing relationship that covered several major markets and creating a single route to market for channel partners across the region.
The deal makes Westcon-Comstor UiPath's strategic distributor in Europe. It comes as demand grows for AI-based automation and customers change how they buy and deploy automation at scale.
Westcon-Comstor previously distributed UiPath in the UK, France, Spain, Portugal and Germany. The expanded agreement extends that footprint across Europe and standardises partner access to the vendor, training, services and commercial programmes.
Services focus
A central part of the deal is a white-labelled UiPath professional services offering from Westcon-Comstor. Partners can use the packaged services in their own delivery models when launching new UiPath practices or expanding existing ones.
Westcon-Comstor is also adding presales support and go-to-market assistance across the UiPath portfolio, including lead qualification through its analytics-led sales programme, Intelligent Demand (iD).
Financing is another element. Westcon-Comstor's Flex financing programme will sit alongside the distribution model for UiPath partners, helping address budget constraints that can slow automation roll-outs, especially when customers want to link spending to realised value over time.
Channel consolidation
For UiPath, the agreement consolidates European distribution with a single specialist partner. This could simplify engagement for resellers and integrators operating in multiple countries, where differences in local distribution agreements and service frameworks can create friction.
The deal also reflects wider changes in the automation market. Many organisations started with small-scale robotic process automation projects; the focus is now shifting to broader programmes spanning testing, operations and AI-assisted workflows.
In that environment, partners often need packaged services, repeatable delivery methods and consistent commercial terms, particularly for multi-year engagements. Westcon-Comstor says the unified model will provide consistent enablement and services across Europe.
Partner economics
The companies are positioning the expanded relationship as a way for partners to build longer-term automation practices. That includes services revenue from implementation and ongoing operations, as well as commercial structures to support larger deals.
René Klein, Executive Vice President, Europe at Westcon-Comstor, described the agreement as part of a strategy focused on partner outcomes in the next phase of AI adoption.
"Our expanded collaboration with UiPath marks a key milestone in our strategy to drive partner success through the next wave of AI-driven transformation," said Klein. "By becoming UiPath's strategic distributor in Europe, we're bringing a far more involved, services-led model to the market – one that helps partners move beyond simply selling automation so they can deliver, fund and scale it. Through our commercial innovation and data-driven approach we're equipping partners with everything they need to build long term, value-rich automation practices."
UiPath says demand in Europe is shifting from pilots to programmes spanning entire organisations, increasing pressure on partners to scale delivery and commercial engagement.
Madeleine Ellis, Area Vice President, Channel and Partners International at UiPath, said the strengthened distribution relationship reflects what partners need as customers widen their use of automation.
"Europe is at an inflection point for AI-driven automation," said Ellis. "As organisations move from pilots to enterprise-wide programmes, partners need the capability, commercial flexibility and services support to scale with confidence. By strengthening our collaboration with Westcon as our strategic distribution partner for Europe, we are creating a focused, services-led route to market that accelerates time-to-revenue, unlocks constrained budgets and enables partners to build durable, high-margin recurring revenue streams. Together, we are equipping our ecosystem to lead the next chapter of agentic automation across the region."
Westcon-Comstor operates in more than 50 countries and distributes technology focused on cybersecurity, networking and hybrid cloud. It trades through three lines of business: Westcon, Comstor and Rebura.
Under the expanded agreement, partners across Europe will be able to use the same UiPath distribution framework, including professional services, demand generation support and financing options, as the companies push wider adoption of agentic automation in the region.
