Zimperium has signed a UK distribution partnership with ABC Distribution, extending its reach in the British market.
Under the agreement, ABC Distribution will offer Zimperium's mobile security products to channel partners serving financial services, telecommunications, government and critical infrastructure. The arrangement is aimed at growing concern over attacks targeting mobile devices and applications.
Cyber attacks are increasingly targeting smartphones and tablets through text messages, messaging apps, QR codes and social media platforms. These attacks can lead to compromised devices, stolen sessions, account takeovers and unauthorised transactions, often outside the view of older security tools.
In the UK, officials have placed greater emphasis on the overlap between cybercrime and fraud. Government policy has highlighted mobile-led threats such as social engineering, SIM swapping, phishing and scams using artificial intelligence.
Mobile focus
Zimperium's products sold through ABC Distribution will include mobile threat defence and mobile app protection. Organisations need to identify attacks originating from compromised devices and applications, strengthen device trust checks, and protect mobile software against malware and exploitation.
Andy Fleet, Regional Vice President, EMEA at Zimperium, linked the deal to those shifts in the threat landscape.
"Mobile is now central to how modern threats are executed, from initial compromise through to transaction," said Andy Fleet, Regional Vice President, EMEA at Zimperium.
"The UK Government's Fraud Strategy reinforces a critical reality: threats increasingly originate on mobile devices, and identity alone is no longer enough. Organisations need visibility into mobile risk to understand what is actually happening and respond in time to stop real impact. Our partnership with ABC Distribution helps bring that visibility and protection to organisations across the UK," Fleet said.
For distributors and resellers, the agreement reflects a broader shift in security spending toward technologies aimed at endpoints beyond the traditional corporate desktop. Mobile devices now sit at the centre of many consumer and employee interactions, especially in banking, public services and remote work, making them a more attractive route for attackers.
Channel support
ABC Distribution will provide partners with access to Zimperium's platform, along with training and support to help them sell and deploy the products. It positions itself as a route to market for vendors seeking broader adoption in the UK.
Chris Walsh, Managing Director at ABC Distribution, said many organisations still rely on security approaches built for a different era.
"Mobile threats have evolved incredibly quickly over the last few years, but many organisations are still relying on security models that were never designed to deal with attacks happening directly on the device," said Chris Walsh, Managing Director at ABC Distribution.
"What makes Zimperium different is the visibility it gives organisations into genuine mobile risk, whether that's phishing, compromised applications or malicious activity happening in real time on the device itself. As mobile becomes a bigger part of how people work and transact, this is an area of security that businesses simply can't afford to overlook. By partnering with Zimperium, we're enabling our partners to help customers identify those real mobile threats, understand how attacks unfold across devices and applications, and respond in minutes," Walsh said.
The announcement also aligns with a broader push for intelligence sharing across the UK's public and private sectors. Under current policy plans, the Online Crime Centre is intended to improve co-ordination between government, law enforcement, telecoms groups, financial services companies and technology providers.
In that environment, data from attacks detected on mobile devices could become more valuable to organisations trying to spot emerging fraud and cyber patterns early. Mobile threat telemetry can help identify hostile activity that starts on handsets before spreading to customer accounts, payment systems or enterprise applications.
Zimperium is based in Dallas and focuses on security software for mobile apps and devices. ABC Distribution operates in the UK technology channel and works with both younger vendors and more established suppliers looking to expand sales through partners.
Zimperium's products are now available through ABC Distribution across the UK.
