Safe Software to bring Peak of Data & AI to London

Mon, 9th Mar 2026

Safe Software has announced that its Peak of Data and AI conference will return to London in 2027, running over three days at the Queen Elizabeth II Centre.

The Vancouver-based data integration company has scheduled the event for 9 to 11 March 2027. A Partner Summit will take place the day before, focusing on Safe Software's partner community.

Peak of Data and AI is held every two years and grew out of Safe Software's long-running user conference. It alternates between North America and international locations. Previous editions were held in Bonn in 2023 and Seattle in 2025.

Safe Software is best known as the creator of FME, a data integration platform that supports spatial data. The company is headquartered in Surrey, British Columbia, and was founded in 1993.

The London programme will include product launches, technical sessions, and breakout tracks, alongside content on industry trends and customer use cases. Safe Software expects attendees from multiple regions, including North America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific.

Partner focus

Alongside the main conference, the Partner Summit will bring together Safe Software's global partner network ahead of the three-day programme. The company has named three UK-based partners as Platinum Sponsors.

1Spatial UK, Miso, and Tensing will participate as Platinum Sponsors. Safe Software described the sponsorship line-up as a sign of the strength of its partner ecosystem in the UK.

The announcement comes as the UK continues to see strong investment in data platforms and analytics, with organisations modernising legacy systems while interest in AI grows. Conferences have also become a key channel for vendors and users to share case studies and compare approaches to governance, integration, and operational use of data.

Conference content

Safe Software describes Peak of Data and AI as a gathering point for data and AI professionals, combining networking with formal sessions.

In 2025, the event featured more than 100 breakout sessions. Safe Software also pointed to announcements made in Seattle, including FME Realise, data virtualisation, and a Snowflake integration. It said the London event will follow a similar pattern, with product news and forward-looking technology updates.

FME supports thousands of systems and includes more than 800 out-of-the-box "transformers" that users can combine to build integration workflows. Safe Software says more than 20,000 organisations use FME worldwide, across more than 120 countries through its partner network.

Safe Software operates in a crowded market for data integration and automation tools, where vendors increasingly emphasise AI-related functionality, expanding connectors, and closer ties to cloud data platforms. For attendees, product launches and roadmap sessions can help assess how suppliers plan to address data variety, governance demands, and the operational challenges of deploying AI systems.

Don Murray, Chief Executive Officer at Safe Software, said the event is intended to convene practitioners and industry leaders.

"At the Peak of Data and AI, we bring together the people who are shaping how organizations use data to drive real-world outcomes," Murray said.

He also highlighted London as the host city for the 2027 edition.

"With London as our host city in 2027, we're excited to connect with the global community to learn, listen, and share what's next for data and AI," Murray said.

Safe Software said it will publish further details for prospective attendees, including early registration information and a call for presentations.
