Targa Telematics & Volkswagen forge strategic partnership

Targa Telematics has announced a strategic partnership with Volkswagen Group Info Services AG to expand data solutions for fleet operators.

The integration will see vehicle data from Volkswagen Passenger Cars, Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles, Audi, Škoda, Seat, and Cupra integrated into Targa Telematics' platform. This move is set to facilitate a range of mobility services for fleet managers, enabling various management features such as maintenance, stolen vehicle recovery, claims, fraud detection, drive analytics, activity reports, electric vehicle management, and corporate car sharing.

Data services will be enhanced using information such as mileage, fuel consumption, and warning lights without needing additional installations. This development adheres to the European Union's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), ensuring data privacy and security.
