8x8 has received channel leadership recognition from CRN and nine Palomarr Insight Awards for its communications and contact centre platform. The honours include executive recognition in EMEA and ANZ, along with product rankings across nine categories.
Emily Masterton, Head of Channel, was named to CRN's Channel Leaders EMEA list, while David Land, Australian Channel Lead, was recognised as a CRN ANZ Channel Chief. 8x8 also placed in the top five in eight Palomarr Insight Awards categories and in the top 10 for Collaboration.
The Palomarr rankings covered Team Collaboration and Productivity, Messaging and Presence, Cloud and VoIP Telephony, Contact Centre, Contact Centre with Collaboration, Voice and Video Communication, Conference Room and Workspace, and Multichannel Communication, where 8x8 ranked in the top five. It placed in the top 10 in Collaboration.
Channel recognition
The CRN honours recognised two regional channel leaders at 8x8. Masterton was selected for the EMEA list compiled by CRN, while Land was named among Channel Chiefs in Australia and New Zealand.
Nima Sherpa Green, EMEA Editorial Director at CRN, The Channel Company, commented on the EMEA list: "As my team and I reviewed this year's Channel Leaders EMEA entries, one thing came through loud and clear: a deep, long-standing respect for the channel community."
Athina Mallis, Editor at CRN Australia, commented on the ANZ recognition: "The Channel Chiefs recognised this year exemplify what strong channel leadership looks like today. They are building durable partner ecosystems, adapting to complex market demands, and creating real value for the channel."
Platform rankings
Palomarr described its Insight Awards as an assessment of customer experience and communications technology based on business fit. In the inaugural awards, 8x8 was recognised across nine categories.
The strongest results came in areas tied to unified communications and contact centre services. These included Contact Centre, Cloud and VoIP Telephony, and Voice and Video Communication, all among the categories where 8x8 ranked in the top five.
8x8 linked the recognition to its channel model, which relies on partners to sell and deliver communications and customer experience services to business customers. That comes as many organisations turn to resellers and service providers to bring together telephony, collaboration, and contact centre tools.
Stephen Hamill, Chief Revenue Officer at 8x8, said the awards reflected that approach. "Partners are how we scale, how we win and how we deliver outcomes for customers. This recognition reinforces what we've built - a partner-first organization focused on simplicity, alignment and shared success. When our partners win, our customers win. It's that simple."
8x8 operates in a market where vendors are trying to combine several communications functions into one platform for enterprises and mid-sized businesses. Its portfolio spans contact centre software, unified communications, and communications-platform-as-a-service tools, with artificial intelligence integrated across those products.
Channel programmes have become central to that strategy for many vendors, particularly in regions where indirect sales dominate business technology procurement. Recognition from CRN in EMEA and ANZ points to 8x8's efforts to build partner relationships in two established regional markets.
The Palomarr awards provide a separate benchmark, focused on how the platform is rated across customer experience and communications use cases. The results placed 8x8 among the higher-ranked suppliers in categories covering messaging, telephony, video, collaboration, and multichannel communications.
For 8x8, the combined honours provide external recognition for both its channel leadership and the breadth of its product portfolio, with top-five rankings in eight Palomarr categories and a top-10 placement in Collaboration.
