Cloudinteract expands to US, hires senior execs for growth
CloudInteract, a UK-based provider of customer experience (CX) platforms, has announced several senior hires to support its growth in the UK and an expansion into the US market.
The company, founded by Nick Seagrave and Simon Leyland in 2023, aims to tap into an industry predicted to grow to over USD $22 billion by 2030.
Among its new hires, CloudInteract has appointed Louise Mahrra as Marketing Director, Nancy Van Delist as Head of Business for North America and Julian Degg as UK Head of Business Development. These new members will join the existing team, which includes Change Director Eliza Taylor, Chief Technology Officer Nick Seagrave, and CEO Simon Leyland.
Simon Leyland, CEO and co-founder of CloudInteract, said, "CloudInteract was born out of Nick's and my mission to reimagine customer experience, by making contact centre interactions better for both customers and users alike. We understand that in a world full of technology providers, the difference lies in how that technology is used to transform real-world experiences."
CloudInteract works with businesses to improve customer interactions using AI-driven platforms and omnichannel systems. Some of its clients include education provider Pearson, life sciences enterprises, and online consumer services providers such as Swoop. The company also collaborates with industry partners like Amazon Web Services.
Simon Leyland emphasised the rapid growth the company has experienced, attributing it to its ability to help businesses rethink and enhance customer interactions. "We've seen tremendous growth in a short period because the businesses we work with recognise the importance of enhancing customer interactions to drive tangible value," he said.
With the goal of supporting its UK growth plans and facilitating its US expansion, CloudInteract aims to leverage its new talent. The firm's senior leadership team is now composed of 50% women. As the company expands, the focus remains on helping businesses unlock the full potential of their customer experience platforms, turning every interaction into a competitive advantage.
Discussing the company's growth strategy, Simon Leyland added, "Our growth is fuelled by a dedication to reimagining what customer experience can be. By doubling down on our investment in people, partnerships, and platforms, we're positioning CloudInteract as the go-to partner for businesses that want to unlock the power of AI, data, and communication to transform their customer interactions."
CloudInteract has also set ambitious financial and operational targets. The company aims to achieve GBP £5 million in revenue by March 2026 and has already exceeded mid-year revenue growth targets for the first half of 2024. Additionally, CloudInteract plans to double its headcount by March 2026, with an additional 25 hires planned in both the UK and US to support its continued expansion and customer success.
