Microlise has signed new partnerships with Dayla Drinks, Wright's Flour and Igloo Thermo Logistics, extending its footprint in the UK grocery and food supply chain.
The three agreements cover fleet performance, journey management and compliance tools, with each customer selecting a different mix of products. Microlise said the partnerships reflect demand for greater visibility across transport operations.
Dayla Drinks, an independent drinks wholesaler, has already adopted Microlise tools for fleet performance and compliance. The company is now rolling out Journey Execution and electronic proof-of-delivery systems.
"Operational excellence and service reliability are at the heart of everything we do. Partnering with Microlise allows us to take a major step forward in achieving our goals. Our new technology helps us improve route efficiency, reduce fuel consumption and further enhance our customer experience," said Ian Carter, Head of Operations, Dayla Drinks.
Flour operations
Wright's Flour has chosen Microlise products for planning, optimisation, journey management, proof of delivery and compliance. The deployment covers transport and delivery activity connected to its flour production and distribution operations.
Microlise said the toolset gives fleet operators more visibility over planning and delivery execution. It also places compliance functions alongside operational data in the same environment.
Cold chain focus
Igloo Thermo Logistics has selected Microlise systems for telematics, driver performance management, remote tacho download, AI camera systems and multi-zone temperature monitoring. The deployment covers both vehicle and trailer assets across chilled and frozen operations.
Igloo operates nationwide temperature-controlled distribution. The company said it wants greater oversight of temperature performance and compliance activity across its fleet.
"Maintaining the highest standards of cold chain integrity is fundamental to our business. Partnering with Microlise gives us a powerful, real-time picture of our fleet, from temperature performance to driver behaviour and compliance. This technology enables proactive intervention, protects product quality, reduces risk and supports the dependable, nationwide service our customers rely on, especially during peak periods across the UK food supply chain," said Kully Gossal, Group Fleet Manager, Igloo Thermo Logistics.
Product mix
The deals show how fleet and logistics operators in the food and beverage industry are combining route planning, proof-of-delivery, and compliance products with telematics and camera systems. Temperature monitoring is also a requirement for cold chain operators.
Microlise positions its products around fleet management and connected vehicle data. The company also offers tools for compliance workflows, including tachograph-related functions, as well as performance reporting.
"We're incredibly proud to be working with Dayla Drinks, Wright's Flour and Igloo Thermo Logistics, all respected names in their respective fields. Our focus is always on partnership and long-term value, ensuring our technology delivers measurable improvements in performance, compliance and customer satisfaction. By tailoring technology to each company's specific needs, we are unlocking real-time insight and achieving tangible insights," said Tim Featonby, Sales Manager, Microlise.
Microlise was established in 1982 and is listed on AIM. The company has offices in the UK, France, Australia and India, and reports a global workforce of more than 800.
Microlise said its client base includes more than 2,500 organisations and it handles over 800,000 subscriptions annually. The company said it expects continued uptake of fleet management and compliance tools across the food and beverage distribution industry.
