Embridge named Unit4 training provider outside Europe

Embridge Consulting has been appointed an authorised training provider for Unit4 in English-speaking regions outside Europe, covering the UK, the Commonwealth and other English-speaking territories.

The appointment expands an existing relationship between the consultancy and the business software supplier, which have worked together since 2015. Embridge was also recently named Unit4's UK public sector go-to-market partner.

Under the agreement, Embridge will provide training for new Unit4 implementations, support user adoption, and help organisations through digital transformation programmes built around Unit4 systems.

Founded in 2009 and based in Gravesham, Kent, Embridge focuses on technology and business transformation work. It says it has supported 17 digital transformation projects based on Unit4 products over the past two years.

These include the implementation of Unit4's ERPx system at the University of Liverpool and an ERP go-live at Devon County Council. Embridge also says it holds more than 82 Unit4 accreditations, including in financial planning and analysis, and has delivered ERP training for 67 organisations in the past 12 months.

The latest agreement gives Embridge a broader role in the Unit4 partner network at a time when software suppliers are placing greater emphasis on user training and change management alongside implementation work. For customers, training is often a separate challenge from software installation, particularly in large public-sector and education projects where systems affect finance, planning, and administrative teams across an organisation.

Embridge describes its consulting model as an "Elastic" approach to change, combining technology, services and leadership. It has held Unit4 elite partner status for seven consecutive years in the Commercial and ERP service categories, as well as a higher-tier partnership in Premier FP&A Services.

Unit4 sells cloud-based business software used by organisations in sectors including public services, higher education and other service-led industries. Training partnerships help software vendors extend customer support without relying solely on internal teams, while giving specialist consultancies a more consistent role after implementation projects are completed.

For Embridge, the appointment adds another layer to its ties with Unit4 after years of implementation and partner work. It also puts the consultancy in a position to shape how customers and users learn the systems after deployment, an area that often determines whether organisations fully adopt new finance and planning tools.
